 Why FKW was created?

Some of the most serious problems that the world is facing today are Health, Environmental, Humanitarian and Economic

About the “For a Kinder World” Nonprofit Organization

The name FKW is descriptive of what the organization is all about, which means the improvement of the quality of life of humans and animals by minimizing any form of suffering.

In the figure above, one can see a system interconnecting the most important components associated with FKW.

In this system, we choose to place diet as the central point, because: diet is directly affecting key areas such as health (what we eat can be very beneficial or harmful to our health), the environment, humanity (for humans and animals), and the economy.

Up to now, due to the system’s complexity, the understanding of the interactions between diet and the areas which it affects is qualitative at best, and there is no model available about them. Obviously, a deep understanding of how such a complex system behaves under conditions that minimize health, environmental, and humanitarian problems while maximizing economic benefits will be of great importance to humanity.

However, the lack of a clear understanding of these effects had led us to continue:

  • Our unhealthy dietary habits
  • The destruction of the environment
  • Unethical and brutal killing of billions of land animals and trillions of fish for food and other purposes.

As a result, we have a huge number of deaths of people and animals, and an enormous financial burden to society.

Furthermore, it is surprising that in comparison to other topics, diet has not been placed in the prominent position that it deserves as a research activity, even though it is probably the most useful and important factor in our lives. and presents great research opportunities, which could be well funded from the wealthy, but not yet explored, food industry.

The mission of the FKW Organization is to help improve our understanding of these effects by presenting relevant facts and truths using education and relevant research materials based on the works of others as well as ours.

Our philosophy

The Allegory of Plato’s Cave and the Shadow Effect

In their philosophical discussions, the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates and his student Plato talked about the creation of an ideal state. The portion of their discussion devoted to the “Allegory of the Cave” is an interesting one.
