Already, several companies that make meat like foods appeared everywhere these days. This trend of replacing real meat with meat like substitute made from vegetables is great because not only it saves the lives of billions of land animals and fish but also because it minimizes the serious environmental problem the world is facing today, it is in many ways nutritionally healthier and according to some studies its more economic to the consumer.

Dr. Dean Ornish’s diet program for heart diseasee:Dr. Ornish’s pioneering research on Heart Disease is going on for more than 40 years, and among other things his research includes diet.  In his books he proposes a healthy, meatless, low-fat and gastronomically pleasing diet which he claims not only may prevent heart disease but reverse it as well.
